ALEXIS C. KIEDAISCH
ABOUT
Alexis Kiedaisch is a creative communicator with an eye for detail. She graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication, emphasis in PR & Advertising and a minor in Art in December 2021. She is back at WSU and currently working towards her second Bachelor's degree, a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design.
Alexis is currently working for Weber State University's Department of Visual Art & Design, which also include the Mary Elizabeth Dee Shaw Gallery as the marketing and outreach manager. Her work at Weber State largely focuses on strategic marketing, advertising, social media, event planning and production. She has also worked for SLUG Magazine, SLC's longest running indie magazine and Ogden Peak Communications, Weber State University’s student-run public relations firm. Alexis has worked closely with clients, such as United Way of Northern Utah and Stewart Library with strategic communication campaigns.
Alexis specializes in marketing, design and has an interest in painting and drawing.
In her spare time, Alexis enjoys photography, hiking and listening to podcasts. She also has a secondary interest in environmental sciences, sustainability and conservation. Alexis is passionate about both learning and teaching about the climate crisis and how we each have a role in caring for our planet and its environments. She has volunteered with organizations such as the Ogden Nature Center.
Alexis's work builds the bridge that connects community to the arts and she strives to form meaningful relationships within the community. She is always looking forward to the next challenge!
